This website is operated by Serallo Domains Ltd, company number 17217704, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office and postal address is Apt 2, 11a West Cliff Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH2 5EP, United Kingdom. Email: tom@serallo.co.uk.
These terms explain our website and business activities. They are not a contract to buy a domain or appoint Serallo as your registrar.
2. Nominet membership and registrar status
Serallo Domains Ltd is a Nominet member and Channel Partner registrar. Our registrar TAG is SERALLO. We acquire and manage our own domain portfolio and provide .co.uk and .uk registrations on behalf of customers by arrangement.
3. Domain acquisition
We acquire selected high-value domain names for our portfolio and offer them for sale to businesses and individuals in the UK and worldwide. We develop our own proprietary acquisition software, RAPTOR. Its implementation and acquisition methods are confidential.
An expiring domain remains subject to the existing registrant’s rights and the registry’s processes. We will only attempt a new registration once it is available under the applicable rules. An expiry or release time does not guarantee availability or a successful acquisition.
We assess prospective acquisitions for legitimate use and relevant third-party rights. Registration does not establish a right to use a name in every context. Concerns can be raised through our abuse procedure.
4. Enquiries, orders and services
You can contact us about buying one of our domains or arranging a direct .UK registration. The relevant offer, order or service agreement sets out the domain, total price and any applicable charges, what is included, the payment arrangements and the expected next steps. We provide those details before you commit.
Contacting us does not by itself reserve a domain or create a contract or payment obligation. A domain’s availability and the applicable offer must be confirmed through the agreed sales or registration process.
Domain directory. Our directory lists domains offered for sale with prices and available payment options. Purchase links take you to the relevant checkout on pay.serallo.co.uk, where availability, price and the terms for that transaction are confirmed. Browsing the directory does not reserve a domain or create an order.
Dropsnare. Our domain backorder website is in development. This website does not currently accept Dropsnare backorders. Its launch, availability and service terms will be published separately.
Funding project enquiries. A funding enquiry is an expression of interest in a possible future nomination to Nominet Members’ GiveHub, not a formal grant application. We will submit a nomination only after confirming Serallo’s member eligibility, checking the current scheme criteria and agreeing the nomination with your organisation. Contacting us does not guarantee a nomination, an award or a funding date. Nominet makes the funding decision.
5. Nominet terms and registration rights
.UK registrations are subject to Nominet’s Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration (PDF), its rules of registration and applicable policies. The official .UK policy index provides the current documents. These website terms do not override Nominet’s terms or applicable law.
References to owning or acquiring domains mean holding the associated registration rights. Those rights remain subject to renewal, registry rules, disputes and valid legal orders.
Before a .UK registration or renewal, we make the applicable Nominet terms and our service terms available and obtain a positive, recorded acceptance from the registrant or their authorised representative. Acceptance is not assumed from a pre-ticked box or an enquiry. The person accepting must have authority to act for the named registrant.
6. Renewal and expiry
Domains registered for customers. If Serallo is your registrar, email tom@serallo.co.uk with the exact domain to request a renewal or check its expiry date. We explain the renewal period, price, payment arrangements and any ongoing charges before you agree. Any automatic renewal arrangement must be set out in your service agreement.
We send at least one expiry notice within the 30 days before a customer’s domain expires. Please keep your contact details current and act on renewal notices promptly. An expiry notice is not confirmation that a renewal has been completed.
Where renewal remains permitted by Nominet, a registrant can renew and keep the domain in their name up to the point of deletion, allowing the time reasonably needed to process the request. If a registration is not renewed, the registry’s expiry, suspension and deletion rules apply. Website and email services may stop, and the domain may eventually become available to others.
Our portfolio. Serallo maintains its own registration details, expiry reminders and renewal decisions for domains held in the company’s name. Any different responsibilities during a Lease to Buy arrangement are set out in that agreement.
7. Registrar arrangements
Our registrar activities are subject to the Channel Partner requirements and .UK Registry–Registrar Agreement (PDF). A customer registration is made in the agreed registrant’s name; a different arrangement requires the customer’s explicit agreement in advance.
Please provide accurate registrant and contact information and tell us promptly if it changes. We may ask for evidence of identity or authority before making a change. Registration information necessary for the .UK registry is supplied to Nominet as explained in our privacy policy.
For a contact update, transfer or change of registrar, email tom@serallo.co.uk with the domain and your requested action. We act promptly on authorised requests and explain the process, expected timescale and any charges before the work is agreed. Registry rules, verification and the receiving registrar’s process may affect completion.
Our service terms explain the charges for registration, renewal, maintenance and any transfer or termination, together with the scope and expected timing of the service. We provide notice of substantive changes to those terms before they take effect, subject to applicable legal requirements.
8. Portfolio sales and Lease to Buy
We sell domains privately and through individual domain sale pages and third-party marketplaces. Each sale is subject to the agreement or checkout terms for that transaction, covering the domain, price, applicable taxes and charges, payment, any statutory cancellation rights and handover to the buyer.
Where offered, Lease to Buy provides a route to use a domain under an agreement with a final purchase option. The agreement sets out the payment schedule and total payable, who holds the registration during the term, permitted use, renewal responsibilities, early termination and the conditions for final transfer. A monthly payment figure alone does not describe the full agreement.
Our intention is to transfer a sold domain to the buyer’s chosen registrar without an additional Serallo fee merely for that transfer, unless a specific charge has been disclosed and agreed in advance. Any third-party charges must also be disclosed and agreed. Registrant changes and registrar transfers follow the applicable registry processes.
Any applicable consumer cancellation rights and any request to begin a service during a cancellation period are addressed before the transaction is agreed. Nothing on this website removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Marketplaces and registrar connections
We offer portfolio domains through Dynadot, Spaceship, Sedo and Afternic as well as through our own direct sales channels. The marketplace’s terms and procedures apply when you transact through that service. The relevant offer identifies the sales and transfer arrangements; a listing does not mean Serallo operates the marketplace.
We do not appoint third-party registration resellers. A marketplace listing does not by itself authorise another party to provide registrar services on Serallo’s behalf. Any future reseller arrangement would require written terms and appropriate oversight.
Serallo has no corporate ownership or control connection with another .UK registrar or Nominet member. Holding domains with another registrar and using a sales marketplace are ordinary business relationships.
10. Using this website
You may read, link to, print and keep copies of our public information for lawful use, including reviewing these policies. Do not misrepresent the information, impersonate Serallo, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access or use our contact channels for unlawful activity. This does not restrict activities permitted by applicable law.
We take reasonable care with the information we publish, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every external link will remain available. Please tell us about an error. External websites are operated by their respective organisations; a link is not an endorsement of all their content.
Our website content and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Rights in third-party names, documents and marks remain with their owners.
11. Responsibility, complaints and privacy
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Changes and applicable law
The version and date appear at the top of this page. We will update these terms when our status or activities change. A website update does not retrospectively amend an existing agreement or replace any legally required notice or acceptance.
These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Nothing here prevents you bringing a claim in a court available to you under mandatory law, or approaching a regulator, Nominet or an appropriate law-enforcement body.
