1. Who we are
This website is operated by Serallo Domains Ltd, company number 17217704, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office and postal address is Flat 2, Heather Court, 11a West Cliff Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH2 5EP, United Kingdom. Email: tom@serallo.co.uk.
These terms explain our website and business activities. They are not a contract to buy a domain or appoint Serallo as your registrar.
2. Application and launch status
We are pre-launch. Our application for a Nominet Self-Managed TAG has been submitted and is awaiting approval. Updates are published on our application tracker.
We are not yet an approved Nominet registrar and do not claim accredited status, endorsement or guaranteed approval. A proposed TAG name is not evidence that a TAG has been allocated or activated.
We will only operate through our own TAG once Nominet has approved the relevant arrangements and access.
3. Domain acquisition
We intend to acquire high-value domain names, hold and manage them in the company’s legal name, and sell selected domains in future. We make our own acquisition decisions and do not acquire names as an agent or nominee for customers.
An expiring domain remains subject to the existing registrant’s rights and the registry’s processes. We will only attempt a new registration once it is available under the applicable rules. An expiry or release time does not guarantee availability or a successful acquisition.
We assess prospective acquisitions for legitimate use and relevant third-party rights. Registration does not establish a right to use a name in every context. Concerns can be raised through our abuse procedure.
4. Orders and services
We are not currently taking orders, selling domains or providing registration, renewal, maintenance, transfer, hosting, brokerage or backorder services to third parties. We do not accept reservations, deposits or payments. There are no customer charges at this stage.
Our contact details are for company correspondence, support and reports. Contacting us does not reserve a domain or create a contract or payment obligation.
5. Nominet terms and registration rights
Our .UK registrations are subject to Nominet’s Terms and Conditions of Domain Name Registration (PDF), its rules of registration and applicable policies. The official .UK policy index provides the current documents. These website terms do not override Nominet’s terms or applicable law.
References to owning or acquiring domains mean holding the associated registration rights. Those rights remain subject to renewal, registry rules, disputes and valid legal orders.
When registering or renewing our domains, an authorised person acting for the company will positively confirm acceptance of the applicable Nominet terms and keep the relevant acceptance records.
6. Renewal and expiry
Serallo is responsible for keeping its registration details accurate, maintaining access, monitoring expiry dates and deciding whether to renew or let a domain expire. We pay the associated registry or registrar charges.
We will maintain an internal expiry reminder within 30 days before each domain expires and record our renewal or expiry decisions. If a domain is not renewed, the applicable registry expiry, suspension and deletion rules apply.
7. Registrar arrangements
Our intended use of a Self-Managed TAG is for the company’s portfolio. We will comply with the Self-Managed TAG requirements and .UK Registry–Registrar Agreement (PDF), including registration data, authorisation, security, use limits and cooperation with Nominet.
Any later third-party registrar activity would need to satisfy the applicable TAG classification and requirements before it begins. We would first publish the relevant terms, charges, renewal, expiry and transfer arrangements. Acceptance of both Nominet’s current terms and our applicable terms would require a positive, recorded action before registration or renewal, without pre-ticked boxes or implied acceptance.
8. Portfolio sales
Sales are part of our longer-term business plan. Each sale will be subject to a separate agreement covering the domain, price, applicable taxes and charges, payment, any statutory cancellation rights and handover to the buyer.
We intend to transfer sold domains to the buyer’s chosen registrar without an additional Serallo fee merely for that transfer, unless a specific charge has been disclosed and agreed in advance. Any third-party charges must also be disclosed and agreed. Registrant changes and registrar transfers will follow the applicable registry terms and Self-Managed requirements.
9. Resellers and registrar connections
We do not use resellers. No third party is authorised to offer registrations or registrar services on our behalf. Any future reseller arrangement would require written terms, oversight and compliance with Nominet’s requirements before it begins.
We have no corporate, ownership, control, reseller, agency or preferential contractual connection with another .UK registrar or Nominet member. Holding our own domains through another registrar is an ordinary customer relationship.
10. Using this website
You may read, link to, print and keep copies of our public information for lawful use, including reviewing these policies. Do not misrepresent the information, impersonate Serallo, interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access or use our contact channels for unlawful activity. This does not restrict activities permitted by applicable law.
We take reasonable care with the information we publish, but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every external link will remain available. Please tell us about an error. External websites are operated by their respective organisations; a link is not an endorsement of all their content.
Our website content and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. Rights in third-party names, documents and marks remain with their owners.
11. Responsibility, complaints and privacy
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

12. Changes and applicable law
The version and date appear at the top of this page. We will update these terms when our status or activities change. A website update does not retrospectively amend an existing agreement or replace any legally required notice or acceptance.
These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply to you. Nothing here prevents you bringing a claim in a court available to you under mandatory law, or approaching a regulator, Nominet or an appropriate law-enforcement body.
