Nominet Members’ GiveHub

Technology that
makes a difference.

We’d like to hear from UK-registered charities and organisations with projects that could help people through technology. Tell us your idea for a possible future GiveHub nomination.

Enquiries welcome for future nominations.

Nominet requires the nominating member to have held membership for at least 12 months. Serallo is a new member, so we are collecting expressions of interest while we work towards meeting that requirement.

If a nomination looks possible, we’ll discuss the project with you, check the full criteria and confirm our eligibility before deciding whether to submit it.

Who should get in touch?

Could your project fit?

These are the headline conditions in Nominet’s public guidance. The full scheme criteria must be checked for any proposed nomination.

A UK-registered charity or organisation.
Nominet’s public guidance includes charities and other UK-registered organisations. Tell us your organisation’s legal name and registration details.
A clear benefit through technology.
The project should improve lives through technology and fit Nominet’s aims for connection, inclusion and security. Explain who benefits and how their situation would improve.
A nomination that meets the full rules.
Both Serallo and the proposed project must satisfy Nominet’s current requirements before submission. The full application criteria are in the Member Hub and require sign-in. This page is a public summary, not an eligibility decision.

What could that look like?

Starting points for a conversation, with examples of previous Nominet support.

02

Accessible services.

Make digital services easier for people with disabilities to use, through accessibility improvements and suitable training.

03

Safer online lives.

Build online safety knowledge through practical education, including activities that help children and families develop confidence.

These examples illustrate the programme’s themes. Each organisation, project and proposed cost still needs to be assessed against the current criteria.

From an idea to a nomination.

Start with a conversation. We’ll explain the next steps if there is a suitable route.

  1. Tell us about it.

Email Tom a short project outline. Explain the problem, your proposed use of technology and who it would help.

  2. Review the fit together.

We’ll discuss the purpose, budget and timing, then check the full scheme criteria and our membership eligibility before considering a nomination.

  3. A possible future submission.

If we are eligible and decide to proceed, we’ll agree the nomination with your organisation before submitting through Nominet’s Member Hub. The GiveHub panel then reviews it and may request more information.

Contacting Serallo is an initial enquiry. It does not submit a grant application to Nominet, commit us to a nomination or guarantee funding, an amount or a decision date.
